Capital Improvements
Waterod Water Supply is committed to serving the changing
water needs of our members in a sensible, sustainable and responsible manner. Waterod
Water Supply has made a significant investment in long-term planning for the
Central Texas area, and we are following a strategic plan to guide capital
investments in order to stay ahead of growth throughout the region.
We will continue to make needed investments in
infrastructure, while following accepted industry conservation practices, to
support sensible growth in order to ensure first-rate service for all of the
residents and businesses in our nearly 1,000-square mile service area
throughout six Texas counties.
Recent Capital Improvement Projects:
2016 FM 535 Transmission Main. Construction of approximately 50,000 feet of
new water line on FM 535 from Rosanky to SH 95 south of Smithville to improve
water service in this area. Total
project cost is $1,224,000
